Inkmoon Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 6, 2026
Inkmoon is designed to provide a private, offline-first experience. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Inkmoon iOS app.
Data Collection
Inkmoon does not collect, store, sell, or share your personal data. We do not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking technologies.
Accounts
Inkmoon does not require registration or a user account.
Local Data
Saved poems, reading preferences, language settings, appearance settings, and notification preferences are stored locally on your device.
Some preferences and daily-poem information may be shared locally between Inkmoon and its Home Screen widgets using Apple’s App Group technology. This information is not sent to Inkmoon or its developer.
Notifications
If you enable daily poem notifications, Inkmoon schedules them locally through Apple’s notification system. Inkmoon does not use remote push notifications and does not upload a device token.
System Sharing
When you choose to share a poem, Inkmoon uses Apple’s system share sheet. Information is only sent to the service or person you select. The privacy practices of that selected service are governed by its own privacy policy.
Third-Party Services
Inkmoon does not include third-party advertising, analytics, social networking, or user-tracking services.
Children’s Privacy
Inkmoon does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.
Data Deletion
Because Inkmoon does not maintain user accounts or remote user databases, there is no server-side personal data to delete. You can remove locally stored Inkmoon data by deleting the app from your device.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if Inkmoon’s features or legal requirements change. The latest version will always be published on this page.
